Hanna Petersen

Hanna Petersen is the innkeeper of The Andersonville Guesthouse, a small boutique-house operation on Clark Street, on the north side of Chicago. She has been hosting on the lane for the better part of a decade, and writes the house dispatches in the spirit of the older small-house B&B publications — seasonal openings on Clark, off-the-map recommendations the front desk has carried for years, neighbourhood walks, and the slow morning porch column. The aim is reading in the small-house hospitality tradition: substantive, warm, with a clear neighbourhood point of view. No comped stays, no promoted properties, no chain partnerships. Just the house and the lane.
